Valuing Scotland's Moorlands Report ~ published February 2020
This publication sets out how moorland habitats - as part of a diverse uplands - can contribute to tackling the climate emergency and biodiversity crisis, and continue to play a vital role for the rural economy of Scotland. It points the way towards integration of habitats and management, and offers thoughts on the nature of future land use and management support policy.
It is a unique document, and in many ways ground- breaking - the first time a truly cross-sector consensual view has been published by the main influencers on Scotland's upland management.
